Tonight author and Associate Director of Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT) Elisabeth Ptak, in conversation with a local rancher and an artist, will discuss the special partnership between ranchers, prominent California artists, and MALT, which has produced the new book Ranches & Rolling Hills: Art of West Marin—A Land in Trust. Named after MALT’s annual Ranches & Rolling Hills landscape art show and sale, this elegant, hardcover book contains more than 135 full-color images selected from the show’s decade-long history. Proceeds from book sales to benefit MALT. Refreshments will be served.
