The Shadow Catcher: A Novel - Buy Now!
Author Marianne Wiggins will present her most recent book The Shadow Catcher, which is a twin narrative: one thread follows a few days in the life of a writer named “Marianne Wiggins” and the alternating thread consists of a work of fiction she has written (a novella really) about the famous photographer of Native Americans Edward Curtis and the woman who became his wife, Clara. Just released in softcover, The Shadow Catcher has been nominated, like her previous book the Evidence of Things Unseen, for a National Book Critics Circle Award. Note: Copperfield’s Siren’s Book Club choice for June is The Shadow Catcher. Members will meet to briefly discuss the book before the event at 6:30pm; new members always welcome.
