Events at Copperfield's Books

Friday, May 2, 7pm
WordTemple • HOSTED BY KATHERINE HASTINGS
ROSE BLACK • Clearing
JOSEPH ZACCARDI • Vents

Poet Rose Black has a passion for writing prose poems, which illuminates her voice. Poet Moira Magneson describes Black's poems as “a canoe ride on a quiet lake, interrupted by a sudden, sometimes deadly, squall.” Fairfax poet, Joseph Zaccardi, will read from his collection titled, Vents, which is a book that Margaret Kaufman says "floats like a 'flotilla of dragonflies' over the hard situations of life."
